I've been lucky in life. I've seen a lot, done a lot, experienced a lot. I've taken a lot of chances, and lived through some adventures that took the lives of less fortunate risk-takers. I've avoided the worst, while experiencing a mixed bag of what must be called, truth be told, the good and the bad. I hate being ancient, but one must be gracious about remaining alive. I am not ungrateful.
The hardest part is that the list of the dead grows longer day by day.
